The Republican contest “Benefactor of the year” has become an important event in life of the Republic of Tatarstan, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said at the official ceremony of awarding the winners of Republican contest for title «Benefactor of 2011».

I am sure that many directors of large industrial enterprises do not know about modern research of our institutional laboratories, President of the Republic of Tatarstan stated at a meeting with the teaching staff and students of the Kazan (Volga) federal university.

The share of small and medium-size business in the Kazan economy should increase from 36 % to 50 %, President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov stated at a session of Kazan city Duma. Outcomes of social and economic development of the city in 2011 were discussed at the session.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov took part in session of the Council of Vysokogorsky municipal region. President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has visited Kazan religious seminary (Chelyuskin street). Archbishop of Kazan and Tatarstan Anastasy met the President by the entrance. He showed classes, workshops, library funds, told about the learning process.

The President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov granted keys from new flats in micro-district “Solnechny gorod” (Kazan) to employees of RT Ministry of the interior. The event was dated to February, 23 – Defender of the Fatherland Day.

A solemn event dated to Defender of the Fatherland Day has been held today in Kazan.
