The Republican fund of historical and cultural monuments has received the “Certificate of world Guinness Records” from the Commission of the Guinness Book of Records.
The Certificate reads,
“The world’s biggest printed Koran with the following parameters: hight – 2 m( 6 feet 6,74 inches), width – 1,52 m (4 feet, 11,84 inches), thickness – 0,17 m (6,69 inches), made by ARC Group S.R.L company (Italy), masters Nejan Bratasevich, Andrey Chernatich (Slovenia) and Mauro Loche (Italy), handed over to Kul-Sharif Mosque (Kazan, the Republic of Tatarstan) by the Republican fund of historical and cultural monuments (Russia) on November, 17, 2011”.
