Participants of the international conference “Nawruz-the holiday of peace and humanism” that was held in Ashkhabad believe that the international holiday Nawruz has consolidated meaning, and its humanistic ideas unite nations all over the world.

At the international conference “Nawruz-the holiday of peace and humanism” in Ashkhabad President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said: “Tatarstan and Turkmenistan people are united by centuries-old friendship and commonness of culture that influenced traditional celebration of Nawruz holiday. The holiday is inspired with love for life and symbolizes revival of nature, triumph of the good.”

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov arrived in the capital of Turkmenistan Ashkhabad. He was met by Deputy Chairman of Turkmenistan Cabinet of Ministers Baimurad Khodzhamukhammedov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Turkmenistan Aleksandr Blokhin at Ashkhabad international airport.

A meeting dedicated to results of work of the Republican expert group on anti-corruption issues obtained during inspection that was carried out at “Chistopol” industrial park was held at Tatarstan Government House by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has met with Austrian Deputy Minister of Transport, Innovations and Technologies Andreas Reichhardt. Tatarstan Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, Minister of Transport and Roads Lenar Safin, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services Irek Faizullin, Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov participated in the meeting.

At a session of the Council for the Development of Physical Culture and Sport President of Russia Vladimir Putin said that preparation for Universiade is underway in accordance with the schedule.
