Farid Mukhametshin: Presentation of Universiade in Strasbourg made Tatarstan brand well-known

Today, on April 30, Tatarstan Parliament Speaker, Chairman of the Committee on current affairs of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe Farid Mukhametshin attended the regular meeting of the Bureau of the Congress in Strasbourg.

Farid Mukhametshin informed the European colleagues on the results of the Committee's work. The next session of the Congress is scheduled for October of this year.

European colleagues said that “The Days of Tatarstan” with a multimedia presentation of the World Summer Universiade was the most remarkable and exciting event of the past session of the Congress. Tatarstan Parliament Speaker said that the preceding event helped to further promote Kazan as one of the sporting cities of Russia and Europe, and Tatarstan as a region with a well-developed infrastructure that is open for business and investments.
“Presentation of the Universiade in Strasbourg made Tatarstan brand well-known,” F. Mukhametshin said.
