Heads of Russian regions and countries that participated in Summer Student Games are sending letters of gratitude addressed to Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. Governor of Kemerovo region Aman Tuleev, Acting President of Dagestan Republic Ramzan Abdulatipov, Governor of Primorsky region Vladimir Miklushevsky, Governor of Astrakhan region Aleksandr Zhilkin, congratulated Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov on successful holding of 27th World Summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan.

At today’s briefing at Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers the Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov informed that this year Tatarstan would receive agricultural products by 40 bln rubles less. The damage caused to crops due to dry weather conditions made 3 bln rubles.

On July 27 at a regional meeting held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov the Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov informed that 17 per cent of cultivation areas (266 thousand hectares) were harvested in Tatarstan.

On July 27 at a regional meeting on housing issues and social mortgage programme Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Municipal Economy Irek Faizullin reported that as of July 26, 2013, 1 mln 272.7 thousand square meters of housing (53.1% of the year plan) were commissioned in Tatarstan, which makes 107.8% compared to the last year.
