On August 12 at his meeting with Ambassador of the United Mexican States to Russia Ruben Beltran in Kazan Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that development of cooperation with Mexico is important. He noted that foreign trade turnover between Tatarstan and Mexico is rather small and consists in delivery of helicopters and oil products to Mexico. Cooperation is also realized in scientific and educational spheres.

On August 11 at the event dedicated to the Builder’s day in Kazan Tatarstan President  Rustam Minnikhanov looked around the exposition representing different companies, including Kazan House Building Complex, Koshchakovsky Brick Plant, an enterprise producing honeycomb and monolithic polycarbonate, a plant producing polyethylene tubes “Tekhstroi”, and ZAO “Automotive Glass Alliance Rus”.

On August 10 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov, regional ministers, heads of state agencies, deputies of Tatarstan State Council, friends, colleagues, and relatives took part in a funeral meeting on the occasion of Aleksandr Yurtaev’s decease in NCC Kazan.

On August 10 Head of State Road Traffic Inspectorate Rifkat Minnikhanov held a session of government commission on road safety at Tatarstan Government House. Accident rate, prevention of road accidents and measures on decreasing the number of injuries, ensuring of safety of passenger transportation and organization of work on bringing access roads, pedestrian crossings near educational institutions in normal condition were discussed at the session.

On August 9 at the closing ceremony of IX All-Russia field open competitions of young geologists held at children’s recreation camp “Solnechny” Russian Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology Sergei Donskoi said that the event helped finding out more about history of the region and adopting geologists’ experience.
