On February 16, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met representatives of Tatar community in Karelia. Head of Karelia Alexander Khudilaynen took part in the meeting.

A Protocol of Agreement on trade-economic, scientific-technical, social and cultural cooperation between Karelia and Tatarstan Government for 2015 – 2017 was signed in Petrozavodsk. The document was signed by Head of Karelia Alexander Khudilaynen and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.

On February 15 during his working trip to Karelia Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the plant OOO “Kalevala” producing Oriented Strand Boards (OSB) in Petrozavodsk. Rustam Minnikhanov was accompanied by Head of the Republic of Karelia Alexander Khudilaynen.

On February 14 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov handed over medal of the Republic of Tatarstan “For valorous work” to people’s artist of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan, laureate of State Prize of the Republic of Tatarstan named after Tukai Ilgam Shakirov at the Kazan Kremlin.

On February 14, at a regional meeting held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at Tatarstan Government House, Minister of Agriculture Marat Akhmetov reported on results of work of Tatarstan livestock sector in January 2015.

On February 13, the exhibition “Ancient town of Bolgar and island town of Sviyazhsk: past and present” opened at “Manege” exhibition hall at the Kazan Kremlin.
