On January 28, at Tatarstan Government House Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov hold a meeting on construction of houses in the Smart City Investment Techopolis.  First Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Chief Executive of Tatarstahn Investment Development Agency Taliya Minnulina, heads of regional ministries and departments took part in the meeting.  

On January 28, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev met Board Chairman of OAO "ROSNANO" Anatoly Chubais. Tatrstan Prime Minister participated in the meeting.

On January 27, at their meeting at Tatarstan Government House, Tatartsan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Director General of STA “IRE-Polus” Valentin Gapontsev discussed current issues of the company activity in the republic, particularly, the functioning of the KAI-Laser Center. Also, the parties have come to an agreement to build a plant to assemble laser systems in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone.
