On July 26, speaking at a briefing at Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, Executive Director of the Regional Revival Foundation Tatiana Larionova said that the Bolgar Islamic Academy will begin training students next academic year.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov is on his regular leave from July 25 till August 2, 2016.
