Marat Akhmetov: Regions can change the situation with winter crops

On September 10, at a meeting at Tatarstan Government House, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Akhmetov told that autumn is expected to be long this year, and regions have a chance to change the situation with winter crops.

The meeting was held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Ildar Khalikov, heads of ministries, agencies, and regions.

Akhmetov noted that it will be harder to harvest vegetables and grain maize in rainy weather and recommended using every sunny day. He asked to pay special attention to autumn sowing.
