On September 14, a number of agreements were signed during the meeting of the Russian-Chinese Subcommittee on cooperation in the field of industry, which took place in the Kazan City Hall in the capital of Tatarstan.

On September 14, at the second session of the Subcommittee on cooperation in the field of industry of the Russian-Chinese Commission for the preparation of regular meetings of heads of governments in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan-China trade turnover for 6 months of 2017 increased by 75 per cent.

On September 14, Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Denis Manturov, who arrived on a working visit in Tatarstan, was met by President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov at the Kazan International Airport.

On September 14, at an annual meeting of regional heads of the VTB bank in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the bank is a long-standing strategic partner of Tatarstan and has actively cooperated with the republic for 15 years.

On September 14, at Tatarstan President’s residence in the Kazan Kremlin, President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Minister of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China Miao Wei, who arrived in Kazan to take part in the second meeting of the Russian-Chinese subcommittee on cooperation in the field of industry to be held in the Kazan City Hall today.

On September 13, in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, CEO of Rockwool-Volga factory Maksim Vasilyev and Director General of the Alabuga Special Economic Zone Timur Shagivaleev took part in an event to mark the start of construction of a new Gordan plant for the production of plant substrates.

Four investment projects were presented for assessment. 

On September 13, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremony to launch a new Belgium Drylock Technologies plant for the production of hygiene products in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone. According to Drylock Technologies CEO Bart Van Malderen, a total of 40 million euros were invested in the project, which will pay off in five years.

On September 12, at a regular board meeting of Tatspirtprom Distillery held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Alexey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic, the results of financial and economic activities of the company for the first half of 2017 were considered.
