20.10.2017

On October 20, speaking at a regional video-conference in the Government House of the republic held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of the Department of the Federal Tax Service in Tatarstan Marat Safiullin reported on the results of work of local tax authorities for nine months of the current year and tasks until the end of 2017.

Safiullin reported that for nine months of 2017 the regional budget has received 62 billion roubles of profit tax, which is 15.5 per cent more as compared to the same period last year.

The amount of personal income tax has increased by 9.2 per cent as compared to the same period last year and totaled 48.9 billion roubles. Among the main factors of the increase in personal income tax are the growth of wages and dividends, the increased number of employees at investment projects under construction, and intensified efforts of inter-departmental commissions.

At the same time, it was noted that some municipal regions have experienced declines in personal income tax.

Minister of Finance of the republic Radik Gayzatullin reported on the results of the implementation of the consolidated budget of Tatarstan for nine months of 2017 and tasks assigned to the local financial authorities until the end of the year.

In particular, he reported that the consolidated budget of the republic has received 199.8 billion roubles of revenues for the reported period, including 182.2 billion roubles of tax and non-tax revenues, 17.6 billion roubles of non-repayable receipts.

We are approaching the end of the year and we have to adopt budgets, including budgets of municipalities, city districts and the regional budget in general, Minnikhnov said, summing up the meeting. He noted that the budget of the republic should be adopted in its first reading to be held on October 26.

Minnikhanov said that unjustified budget expenses must not be allowed. We must successfully close the year and start implementing programmes in 2018, he said.
