On May 13, during his working visit to Tatarstan, Russian President Vladimir Putin together with Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Yuri Borisov, Russian Minister of Emergency Situations Sergey Shoygu, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov, Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Denis Manturov and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Gorbunov Kazan Aviation Plant.

On May 13, Russian President Vladimir Putin, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan, was met by Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu, Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.

On May 11, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Governor of the Bryansk region Aleksandr Bogomaz discussed issues of deepening interregional cooperation and the exchange of experience in various fields.

On May 11, speaking at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin, Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin said that as of May 11, 2019, capital repair of multi-apartment houses has been implemented in the amount of 496 m 454 thousand roubles, which makes 8,55 per cent of the plan for the current year.

On May 9, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov laid flowers at the Eternal Flame of the Colonnade of the Glory Memorial in the Kazan Victory Park.

Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, the veteran of the World War II, the Hero of the Soviet Union Boris Kuznetsov and other officials took part in the ceremony.

On May 9, at the Arsk cemetery in Kazan, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin laid flowers at war graves and obelisk in memory of those, who fell in the World War II of 1941 – 1945.

On May 8, veterans of the World War II and homefront workers, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of Gorky railway Anatoly Lesun, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and other officials took part in an opening ceremony of the renovated Alley of Glory in Yudino settlement in Kazan, dedicated to the 9th of May – the Victory Day of the World War II.

On May 7, in the afternoon, during his working visit to Laishevo municipal region of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Miinikhanov inspected the progress of sowing campaign there.

On May 7, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov paid a working visit to Sverdlovsk region to take part in a meeting held by Russian Prosecutor General Yuri Chaika on legality and practice of public prosecutor’s supervision in the sphere of solid municipal waste handling in the Far Eastern, Volga, Siberian and Ural Federal Districts.
