Days of the Republic of Tatarstan opened in St. Petersburg

Exhibition “Tukai Gardens” opened today in St. Petersburg (Sheremetiev Palace).The event is dedicated to Days of the Republic of Tatarstan being held in St. Petersburg on May 18-19.Members of Tatarstan delegation including Minister of culture Airat Sibagatullin, Chairman of executive committee of World congress of Tatars Rinat Zakirov and others took part in opening ceremony.

President of Tatarstan meets with participants of Media-forum

Meeting of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with members of Media-forum of RT mass media was held in House of RT Government. In the meeting took part Vice-president of international information group “Interfax”, Director-general of ZAO “Agency of business communications” Nikolai Kasianov, Director-general of ANO “Sport broadcasting” Vasili Kiknadze, Deputy Director-general - Head of regional department of “VGTRK” Rifat Sabitov, Chief editor of paper “Komsomolskaya Pravda” Vladimir Sungorkin, Chief editor of "Rossiiskaya Gazeta" (Russian Gazette) Vladislav Fronin, PR-director of “CPL” company Anton Khrekov. Tatarstan was presented by Head of Republican agency for press and mass communications “Tatmedia” Marat Muratov.

Rustam Minnikhanov: Tatarstan and Kyrgyzstan are ready to lift up relations to new level

“Relations between Tatarstan and Kyrgyzstan should lift up relations to a new level”, - President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said at a meeting with parliamentary speaker of Kyrgyzstan Akhmatbek Keldibekov. The meeting was held in House of RT Government with participation of Chairman of RT State Council Farid Mukhametshin and Vice-premier – RT Minister of agriculture and foodstuff Marat Akhmetov.

6 000 people to be attracted for the opening ceremony of Universiade

6 000 people are planned to be attracted for a grand opening ceremony of World summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan. Such an information was presented at a meeting of RT President with producers Igor Krutoi and Boris Krasnov. The meeting was attended also by Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin, RT Minister for youth affairs, sport and tourism Rafis Burganov and Head of Universiade Directorate Vladimir Leonov.

Ravil Muratov: Discipline should be brought to conscription of the graduates from higher and vocational secondary institutions

“Work on conscription of the graduates from higher and vocational secondary educational institutions to military service is not well-organized in Tatarstan”, - First Vice-premier Ravil Muratov announced at a session of republican conscription commission. The session was held in House of RT Government with participation of all municipal regions.

Agreement between Roskomnadzor and Tatarstan signed on cooperation gor preparing to Universiade

The agreement on basics of interaction in preparation and holding of Universiade -2013 in Kazan between Republic of Tatarstan and Federal service on supervision in sphere of communication and info technologies has been fixed today in a capital of the republic. The signatures in a document were put by chief of Roskomnadzor Sergei Sitnikov and President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. In a meeting held in RT House of Government took part RT Premier Ildar Khalikov, RT vice premier-minister of info and communication Nikolai Nikiforov, chief of republican agency on press and mass media Marat Muratov.

President of Tatarstan visited constructing objects of APEC 2012 summit

Today President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has made a working trip to the Primorsky Krai. In Vladivostok, the head of Tatarstan met with Primorye Governor Sergei Darkin, saw constructing objects of APEC-2012 summit and met with the Tatar Diaspora.

Rustam Minnikhanov attends a house-warming party in Sviyazhsk

Several new houses were commissioned in the island town of Sviyazhsk, Tatarstan on May 15.Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Tatarstan Construction, Architecture and Housing Minister Irek Faizullin, Executive Director of the Tatarstan Presidential State Housing Foundation Talgat Abdullin and other officials congratulated new settlers on the occasion.

Agreement between JSC “TAIF”, RT Ministry of culture and republican fund “Revival” (republican fund of revival of historical and cultural monuments) was signed on island-town Sviyazhsk within the framework of opening Complex of government buildings in Sviyazhsk after reconstruction and restoration.
