International conference “Eurasian union: ambitions, problems, prospects” is held in Kazan under the auspice of special envoy of the RF President on relations with CIS countries Konstantin Kosachev , RF State Duma and RF Ministry of foreign affairs. Chairman of RT State Council Farid Mukhametshin welcomed participants of the forum on behalf of the Tatarstan leadership.

The Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov highly appreciated activity of JSC Tatneft at the annual shareholders meeting of the company in accordance with results of 2011. “Today the company creates new activities and diversifies its work besides doing its main business, - oil production,” Rustam Minnikhanov said. He also emphasized innovative activity of the company.

Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov held a meeting on realization of the program of Tatarstan’s social and economic development for 2011-2015 at the RT Government House. Opening the meeting, Ildar Khalikov reminded that Tatarstan was one of the first regions in Russia to start arrangement of long-term plans and programs.

An official ceremony of graduation and presentation of diplomas to students of Kazan juridical institute of RF Ministry of the interior was held today. The Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Vice-premier Asgat Safarov, deputy chairman of State Council Alexandr Gusev and other officials attended the ceremony.
