On February 9, at his meeting with Iran's Consul General to Kazan Alibeman Eghbali Zarch at Tatarstan Government House, President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov appreciated the level of bilateral cooperation between Tatarstan and Iran in economic, political and humanitarian spheres within the framework of Russian-Iranian relations.

On February 9, at their meeting at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and President of Horse France Bloodstock Agency Jean-Pierre Deroubaix discussed topical issues of cooperation in the sphere of horse breeding and horse racing.

On February 8, the business forum “Tatarstan- Saudi Arabia” was held at the end of the official visit of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov to Saudi Arabia (the Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Jeddah).

On February 7, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Commerce and Investments of Saudi Arabia Mr. Majed Al-Kassabi and Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani discussed development of trade and economic relations between the Republic of Tatarstan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
