On November 9, during his working visit to Chelyabinsk, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a plenary meeting of the 14th Russia-Kazakhstan Interregional Cooperation Forum, which was chaired by President of Russia Vladimir Putin and President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.

On November 9, on the sidelines of the 14th Russia-Kazakhstan Interregional Cooperation Forum held in Chelaybinsk, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Akim of Aktobe Region Berdybek Saparbayev signed an agreement on trade, economic, scientific, technical, social, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the Tatarstan Government and the local administration of Aktobe Region (Kazakhstan).

On November 9, during his working visit to Arsk municipal region of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the ceremonial opening of a new secondary school for 500 students.

On November 9, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Information and Communication of the republic Roman Shaikhatdinov, Minister of Economy of the Republic Artem Zdunov and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin took part in an opening ceremony of a new multipurpose centre for rendering state and municipal services in Moscovsky district of Kazan.

On November 9, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Kazan Askhat Nuskabay discussed further steps to develop mutually beneficial cooperation between Kazakhstan and Tatarstan.

On November 8, at his office in the Government House of the Republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Alexey Pesoshin handed over the International award named after A.N.Tupolev to Doctor of Technical Sciences, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Inozemtszev.

On November 8, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chief Rabbi of Russia Berl Lazar, Chief Rabbi of Kazan and Tatarstan Yitzhak Gorelik, President of the Federation of Jewish Communities Alexander Boroda and other guests took part in an opening ceremony of the country’s first regional Centre for Torah Studies in Kazan.

On November 8, in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Tatarstan Minister of Internal Affairs Artem Khokhorin took part in the ceremonial opening of a new police station “Safiullina”, the construction of which started in 2015. 

On November 8, speaking at the 33rd meeting of the regional State Council, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that it was decided that teachers of the Tatar language will not be dismissed, and the number of teachers of the Russian language will be increased in Tatarstan.
