On October 15, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin welcomed the participants of the first International Sichuan Forum of the Heads of Twin Regions and Twin Cities under the Belt and Road Initiative, held in the city of Chengdu, the People’s Republic of China.

The forum is aimed at deepening the relations between twin regions and twin cities and developing bilateral practical cooperation.

On October 14, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin arrived on a working visit in Chengdu (Sichuan Province, the People’s Republic of China) to take part in the International Forum of the Heads of Twin Provinces (Regions) and Twin Cities under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and during the Year of Interregional Cooperation between Russia and China.

On October 14, at the Pyramida Entertainment Complex in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov chaired an expanded meeting of the Tatarstan Presidential Council on Entrepreneurship. More than 200 entrepreneurs, as well as heads of regional authorities, leaders of public business associations, heads of municipal regions, and people’s deputies of the State Council of the republic took part in the meeting.
