All Russia census has started all over Russia. Second time such a scale action all-state level aimed at presenting objective life picture of our society is being held in new Russia.
Census of households as called to specify social –economic status of population.Previous years a big and diversified preparatory has been held in which state and municipal power bodies, general public of our republic took part. The results of census will laid in foundation of determining social -economic perspectives of cities and regions development, all municipal formations, forecasting demographic and migration processes, continuation of reforms in healthcare and pension provision, education and culture, housing –communal services, forming budgets of all levels.

Cooperation prospects between European Bank of reconstruction and development and Tatarstan on number of projects proposed by the republic have discussed today Head of RT Government I.Sh. Khalikov and EBRD managing director on Russia Natlia Khajenkova.

Today President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has met with Governor of Gilboa district council (Israel) Dani Atar and Deputy Governor of Dzhenin province (Palestine) Abdalla Barakat. Rustam Minnikhanov stressed that officials of Palestine and Israel had arrived in Kazan together, thus showing the example of peaceful co-existence of two brotherly nations – European and Arabic. President told about economic potential of Tatarstan, educational and cultural spheres. For the present moment certain connections are established with Israel and Palestine in the sphere of humanities and culture. City dwellers may become familiar with Israel and Plestine cinema. Students of both states study at Kazan universities, Tatarstan specialists exchange experience with Israel colleagues in some areas. But still the level of our economic relations is very low, Rustam Minnikhanov said.

The republican youth forum will be held in Kazan on November, 17. RT Minister of youth affairs, sport and tourism Rafis Burganov told about preparation for the event at briefing in RT Cabinet. All brilliant ideas of new generation will be demonstrated at forum. The best ones will pretend to be realized. More than 16,5 people will be attracted in Tatarstan for holding population census 2010. This was announced today by Head of territorial body of Federal state statistics service on RT Valery Kandilov at traditional briefing in House of RT government. The briefing was held in format of video conference with participation of all municipal regions of republic. Besides, all Internet users could take part in the event via official portal of RT government (www.prav.tatar.ru ).  By words of Valery Kandilov, within the next two days the information about stationary census points will appear in mass media. All people involved in population census have passed special training and took exams, Valery Kandilov informed. Everyone has signed agreement about confidentiality of information.

Construction of the Rockwool International facilities at the Alabuga Special Economic Zone was in the focus at the meeting of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the company’s president Eelco van Heel on October 11 at the RT House of Government.Greeting the guests, Rustam Minnikhanov recalled that Rockwool was one of the zone’s first residents and one of the Tatarstan’s strategic partners.“The work to build a new Rockwool heat insulation plant in the Alabuga zone is going the right way,” Rustam Minnikhanov said, expressing confidence production would be rolled out as scheduled.The Tatarstan President went on to noted the Rockwool products had enjoyed a well-deserved demand for in the world as well as in Tatarstan. They are used by the JSC Taneco, JSC Kamaz and in housing construction.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Senegal Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Russia Mamadou Saliu Diouf have today discussed prospects for economic and cultural cooperation at a meeting at the Cabinet of Ministers.The Senegalese ambassador immediately after the meeting told journalists the Republic of Senegal was interested in developing economic, public and cultural cooperation with Tatarstan, every condition for which was available. “The populations of Tatarstan and Senegal have much in common. The Muslim religion is widespread in both republics. The Republic of Tatarstan is well-known thanks to the JSC Kamaz products and the Tatarstan’s team's participation in the Paris-Dakar rally race,” the guest said.The Tatarstan President director of the external relations department, aide to Tatarstan President on international affairs Timur Akulov said Senegal was an emerging country with a high potential. The republic has adopted a food programme, aimed to provide Senegal and African countries with food. Senegal is going to have a huge demand for machines and equipment manufactured by Tatarstan. The Republic of Senegal delegation that includes 6 people will tomorrow visit Kamaz and Sollers.
