The program of social and economic development of Tatarstan Republic for 2011-2015 has been approved at the session of RT cabinet and forwarded to republican Parliament. In accordance with Federal Law from October,6,1999 №184-ФЗ and regulations of RT State Council the program should be accepted by the law of Tatarstan Republic.Session on RT Cabinet was held in House of RT Government in format of video conference with participation of all municipal regions. RT President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of RT State Council Farid Mukhametshin, RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in the event. At the beginning of session head of RT Government informed attendants about results of implementing the Program of social and economic development of republic in 2005-2010.

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov called for intensifying safety measures on transport, including airports and transport junctions on the territory of Tatarstan Republic.
Measures on intensifying safety measures are connected with terrorist attack which happened at international airport “Domodedovo” (Moscow) on January, 24, 2011.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with Head of Federal state institution “Chief department за state expertise” (Glavgosexpertiza of Russia) Sergey Osmanov. The meeting was held in House of RT Government.By words of Aide to RT President Anatoli Krasnov, parties discussed course of works under the project “Systems of interactive interaction of Federal state institution “Chief department за state expertise” and its branches with applicants when delivering project documentation for state expertise and revision of estimated cost.

Board session of RT Ministry of justice was held in Kazan. RT First Vice-premier Ravil Muratov took part in the event. The session was held in format in video conference. RT Minister of justice Midkhat Kurmanov told in details about work that had been done last year and objectives of the ministry for current year. Thus, last year coordination of rule-making work of executive power bodies, anti-corruption expertise of bills of normative legal acts coming into the ministry were intensively implemented. First two volumes of RT laws in two official languages of republic in paper and electronic format were issued.

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov has met with Russian bandy team. The meeting was held at the stadium "Trudovy reservy" in Kazan on the threshold of world bandy championship that is to be started in Tatarstan capital on January,23. In the event took part Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin, Minister of interiors on RT Asgat Safarov, Head of Russian Bandy Federation Boris Skrynnik, chief coach of Russian bandy team Sergey Firsov, President of club “Dinamo-Kazan”, general manager of national team Dmitry Samarenkin.

(Kazan, January 21, Tatar-inform). a round table at the Tatarstan House of Government has today discussed devising a concept of building and developing an information environment for public finance management. Attendees were Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian deputy finance minister Tatiana Nesterenko, and others. Opening the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov noted the republic had accumulated a vast experience in both implementing information technologies in the public governance processes and improving the public administration concept. Since 2001, a public order for management on each ministry and department has been formed in Tatarstan. After the federal law No 131 was adopted, similar relations have been built with the local governance bodies, and since 2010 with the federal territorial branches as well.

President of Tatartsan Rustam Minnikhanov met with commission reporters of PACE at a Kazan Kremlin. The point is on development of democratization processes in Russia, on principles of holding election campaigns, on preserving stability in such multi-confessional and multinational region as Republic Tatarstan . PACE commission reporters on monitoring Andreas Gross (Switzerland) and Giorgi Frunda (Romania) stay in Kazan with a working visit (January 19-22 , 2011). The program of their stay in Tatarstan includes communication with representatives of prosecutor offices, leaders of national-cultural autonomies, representatives of Religious board of Muslims of Tatarstan, Orthodox clerics, members of RT Public chamber etc., visiting Republican center of sports-patriotic pre-conscript youth training «Patriot», RT State Council.

Year of teacher should turn into Century of teacher. This was stated by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at closing ceremony held at Kazan Pyramid. «Year of teacher is over and today we sum up its results. Look, how much can be done for a year! – Rustam Minnikhanov mentioned. – Today one cannot help but agree that Year of teacher should turn into Century of teacher. We have adopted 5-year strategy of education development «Kilyechek». I think that in such format we must work further and sum up annually the results».

Each year IT –sphere in Republic of Tatarstan undergoes big changes granting more and more possibilities for sectors of the economy, citizens and authority bodies. This was stated by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at year’s results board session in RT Ministry of informatization and communication.The borad session took place in the IT – park building (Kazan), in video conference format with switching all municipal regions of Tatarstan. Deputy RT Premier –Minister of informatization and communication Nikolai Nikiforov came out with a report on 2010 year’s results.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov called for the most effective use of natural materials for the road construction in Tatarstan. This was said on January 19 during the visit to the Kazan State Architectural-Construction University (KGASU).During the inspection of the sports complex, hostels and housing of KGASU Rustam Minnikhanov was accompanied by Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin, Minister of Transport and Roads of Tatarstan Lenar Safin, RT Minister of Education and Science Albert Gilmutdinov and other officials.
