Tatarstan leadership is ready to support our youth projects in future. This was said today by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov while visiting final exhibition of projects-winners of Republican youth forum.The republican youth forum is being held in Kazan on November, 15-17. According to the idea of organizers, the forum should become an area where every young person or a team could demonstrate their talent, realize creative potential and receive support in implementation of their projects and ideas.

Ceremony of awarding winners of republican contest for receiving grants of RT Cabinet for non-commercial organizations which take part in realization of socially important projects, has been held today in House of RT government with participation of RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov. Ildar Khalikov informed that such contests are aimed at attraction of off-budget resources into social sphere, involving businessmen and public organizations into state and municipal projects which are currently the basis of Tatarstan development.

The meeting of the Governmental commission for the development of small and medium business was held in Moscow on November 16. Out of three earlier announced issues the participants of the meeting discussed only the first one: “On the draft federal law on improving the simplified taxation system on a patent basis”.Russian Economic Development Minister Elvira Nabiullina, Russian Agriculture Minister Elena Skrynnik, Secretary of State – Russian Deputy Finance Minister Sergei Shatalov, President of the Chamber of Industry and Trade Evgeny Primakov, Chairman of the Board of Sberbank German Gref and other officials attended the meeting.The meeting was conducted by Chairman of the Russian Government Igor Shuvalov. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov also took park in the work of the meeting.

One of Europe’s largest investment banks Credit Suisse could offer a scope of financial services to companies in Tatarstan. The statement was made at a meeting between bank officials and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.The meeting took place at the Kazan Kremlin and was attended by the Credit Suisse Chief Executive in Europe, Middle East and Africa Fawzi Kyriakos-Saad, Credit Suisse Managing Director in Kazakhstan Antanas Petrosius and Credit Suisse Russia Vice-President Max Kushner. Tatarstan was at the meeting represented by the Energy Minister Ilshat Fardiev, Economy Minister Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, TAIF General Director Albert Shigabutdinov, Ak Bars Bank Board Chairman Robert Musin and Svyazinvestneftekhim General Director Valery Sorokin.Fawzi Kyriakos-Saad said Credit Suisse specialised in investment banking, private banking and asset management. The company’s personnel are over 49 thousand.

RT President R.N.Minnikhanov signed the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan “On fixing the rate of living wage of a pensioner in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2011 to define the size of federal social extra payment to pension”. The size of living wage of a pensioner in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2011 has been fixed in the amount of 3992 roubles. Text of the Law will be officially published in mass media.

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov has met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to RF Smile Shergi. The meeting was held in RT Cabinet. “Lately we have put much emphasis on Islamic world. We have good relations with countries and international organizations of Islamic world”, - Rustam Minnikhanov noted. By his words, visit of Algerian Ambassador to Tatarstan will facilitate strengthening of two-sided cooperation.

Audit of forming tariffs for housing and communal services is to be conducted in every municipal region of Tatarstan. This was announced today by acting prime minister of republic Ravil Muratov at the meeting in RT Cabinet. Results of first revisions have been summed up at the meeting. Ravil Muratov put much emphasis on creating competitive environment in the sphere of management for housing fund. At the same time, acting prime minister supposes that in case of increasing the number of managing companies costs will go up.

November, 13. Russia, Japan and China signed trilateral agreement on constructing plant for producing fertilizers in Mendeleevsk in presence of RF President Dmitry Medvedev and RT President Rustam Minnikhanov in Yokohama. Total cost of the project makes 1 bln. dollars.The contract signed between Tatarstan company “Ammony” and consortium of companies Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd (MHI) (Japan), Sojitz Corporation Ltd (Japan), China National Chemical Engineering Group Corp (China) includes all stages of construction process (design, deliveries, construction).According to information at official site of Sojitz company, such a full course is rather unusual for project on the territory of Russia.

Almost 39 000 people in Tatarstan are considered to be officially unemployed. For the last two weeks unemployment growth is being observed in republic. The highest level of unemployment was marked in Tetyushsky region (3,81 %).Also in autumn the need for personnel is going down. Thus the rate of tensity at labor market is increasing. Today on average 1,6 people go to 1 vacancy, Deputy minister of labor, employment and social protection Klara Tazetdinova informed at session of Republican interdepartmental commission on improving living standards and income legalization. The session was held in House of RT government with participation of Acting Prime Minister Ravil Muratov.

November 12, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov is on a visit to Yokohama, Japan together with the Russian delegation in the framework of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev’s participation in the APEC summit.Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, or APEC, was established in 1989 to further enhance economic growth and prosperity for the region and to strengthen the Asia-Pacific community.APEC is the only inter governmental grouping in the world operating on the basis of non-binding commitments, open dialogue and equal respect for the views of all participants. Unlike the WTO or other multilateral trade bodies, APEC has no treaty obligations required of its participants. Decisions made within APEC are reached by consensus and commitments are undertaken on a voluntary basis.
