Issues of preparation for the World summer student games -2013 have been discussed at a meeting chaired by the RF Vice-premier Igor Shuvalov in Kazan. The Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, the Russian minister of sport Vitaly Mutko, PM of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov, chiefs of federal and republican ministries and agencies attended the meeting at the RT Government House.

The Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has met with Director General of the World Trade Organization Pascal Lamy at the Kazan Kremlin. Director of the Department for external relations under the RT President – Aide to RT President Iskander Muflikhanov, Vice-premier – Minister of industry and trade Ravil Zaripov, Vice-premier – Minister of agriculture and foodstuff Marat Akhmetov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Shamil Ageev attended the meeting.

A video conference between the Kazan Governor’s Palace and Representation of the Republic of Tatarstan in Moscow was organized today. Within the framework of the video conference the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov spoke to members of the republican team - participants of III World children’s Games of winners.

A meeting of ministers from APEC countries on food security will favor ensuring food security, further consolidation and expansion of economic relations between Russia and APEC countries. Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov made such a statement welcoming attendees of the Food Security Ministerial Meeting within the framework of the Russia's APEC chairmanship.
