On July 5 Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov congratulated Rustam Minnikhanov on forthcoming opening of World Summer Universiade in Kazan by telephone. He wished Tatarstan President to successfully hold such a major international event.

On July 5 at their meeting in Kazan Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Euronews Sales Director Gilberto Gribaudo discussed further cooperation within such projects as covering events during preparation and holding 27th World Summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan, holding information campaign about Tatarstan Republic on Euronews channel.

On July 5 at a regional meeting Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Irek Faizullin said that 3 bln 497 mln rubles (74% of a year plan), were spent on capital repair of multi-apartment houses in Tatarstan as of July 3.

On July 4 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in opening of the second building of Korston hotel & mall. The event took place in Extra Launge restaurant on the 25th floor of a new building with participation of employees of ministries and agencies, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, President of Korston group Anatoly Kuznetsov, Director General of OOO “Korston-Kazan” Rais Mubarakzyanov.
