Dear Tatarstan citizens! The campaign for the elections of local council deputies of the fifth convocation is nearly completed. Representatives of eight political parties competed for seats in the Parliament. Many topics were raised at the meetings with voters and in the pre-election debates.

On September 12, speaking at a session of Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers “On forecast of the social and economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2015 and planned period of 2016 and 2017 and consolidated budget statement of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2015 and planned period of 2016 and 2017”, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the current rates of growth of the Tatarstan economy are not satisfactory and regional authorities should make every effort to improve the economic situation.

On September 11, at the Institute of Philology and Arts of the Kazan Federal University, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with winners of federal and district contests, activists of youth public organizations.
