On March 3, during his working visit to Kyrgyz Republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Vice-premier of Kyrgyz Republic Valery Dil and members of the Tatarstan delegation, laid flowers to the Eternal Flame at Victory Square in Bishkek.

On March 3, 2015 Tatarstan Parliament Speaker awarded 34 women veterans from all over the republic with a commemorative medal “70 Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941 – 1945”. The solemn ceremony was attended by the Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan and parliamentarians.

On March 3, at a business forum “Kyrgyzstan – Tatarstan”, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the republics need to intensify cooperation in economic sectors. In his opinion the regions do not use their potential to the full extent.

On March 3, at his meeting with Prime Minister of Kyrgyz Republic Dzhoomart Otorbayev in Bishkek, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the main purpose of the visit to Kyrgyz Republic is expansion of cooperation.

On March 2, at his meeting with representatives of Tatar community in Bishkek, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov appreciated the contribution of activists of the community to preservation of the Tatar culture and language. He thanked leadership of Kyrgyz Republic for providing favourable conditions for Tatars living in Kyrgyzstan.

On March 2, Tatarstan State Counsellor, Chairman of the Board of guardians of “Revival” Foundation Mintimer Shaimiev held a meeting on creating the exposition dedicated to the history of Turkic-Tatar writing system at the Museum of Bolgar civilization. The project of the exposition and square that will be created within the framework of the Year of parks and squares in Tatarstan was presented to participants of the meeting.

On March 2, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who arrived in Kyrgyz Republic, was met by Vice-premier – Minister of Kyrgyz Republic Valery Dil and Ambassador of Kyrgyz Republic to Russia Bolot Dzhunusov at Bishkek airport.

On March 2, Secretary General of the European Badminton Federation Brian Agerbak thanked Tatarstan leadership for successful holding of the European Badminton Championship 2014 in Kazan (April 23-27, 2014), and handed over the diploma of the European Badminton Federation “for excellent organization of the European Badminton Championship 2014 in Kazan and development of badminton” to Rustam Minnikhanov.
