On March 16, at a regional meeting at the Tatarstan Government House held by the President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin said that the Labour Inspection carried out 242 inspections from the beginning of 2015. 79 resolutions for the sum of 2 million 319 thousand roubles for violation of labour safety rules have been passed. During the same period 53 organizations have been brought to disciplinary responsibility.

By the decision of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, March 14, 2015 has been declared a day of mourning in memory of those killed in the fire at the Admiral shopping center in Kazan on March 11, 2015.

This day the national flags will be half-mast, entertainment events will be canceled.  Regional TV channels will change their programme schedule.

On March 13, at a solemn ceremony at the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov handed in the Order of Merit for the Republic of Tatarstan to People's Artist of Russia Asghar Shakirov.

On March 13, at its session at Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, the Economic Council  chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov discussed  issues related to the introduction of informational and analytic system “Promotion of Tatarstan produce in external markets”, current indicators of socioeconomic development and the 2015 tax revenues".

March 12, in Moscow Russian Minister of Construction Mikhail Men and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov discussed provision of WWII veterans with housing, realization of regional programmes of major repair of multi-apartment houses, relocation of citizens from dilapidated houses, and participation in the programme “Housing for Russian families”.
