On August 21, within his working trip to Bugulma region, Interim President of Tatarstan Republic handed in keys from new school buses to the heads of municipal regions and noted that the availability of a bus is a necessary condition for the development. “Our strategy is to build basic schools and provide free education of good quality. It is difficult to accomplish this task without primary schools and buses, “ Rustam Minnikhanov went on to report. To the point, buses were produced in joint enterprise “Ford Sollers” located in special economic zone “Alabuga” (Tatarstan). 

On August 21,within his working trip to Bugulma region, Interim President of Tatarstan Republic  Rustam Minnikhanov visited a number of educational institutions. Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President's Administrative Office Asgat Safarov, Deputy Prime Minister -Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan Engel Fattakhov, head of Bugulma municipal region Linar Zakirov and other officials accompanied Rustam Minnikhanov.

On August 21, Interim President of Tatarstan Republic Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a working trip in Bugulma region to take part in the session of Regional August meeting of Tatarstan education and science employees on “Modern education: new strategic guidelines – new solutions” to be held in Bugulma today.  Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President's Administrative Office Asgat Safarov, Deputy Prime Minister -Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan Engel Fattakhov, Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov and other officials accompanied Rustam Minnikhanov. 

On August 21, in Kazan Kremlin Interim President of Tatarstan Republic Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Chief of Azerbaijan State Border Guard Service, General-Lieutenant Elchin Guliyev, who arrived on a working trip in Kaza, to discuss issues related to further cooperation in several fields.  

On August 20, at their meeting at Tatarstan Government House Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and representatives of the Moody's Global rating agency discussed the macroeconomic performance and prospects of the economic development of the republic.

 

On August 20, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov participated in meeting in format of video conference dedicated to readiness of educational system for the next academic year, where Chairman of Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev declared that a draft programme on creating the new number of places at schools is prepared . According to it, 6.5 million additional places are to be created in comprehensive institutions by 2025.

On August 19, at 3rd plenary session of Regional forum of socially oriented non-profit organizations  held in Kazan, Interim President of Tatarstan Republic Rustam Minnikhanov told that they will be able to create necessary conditions for efficient work of socially-oriented non-profit organizations by joint efforts. Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President's Administration Asgat Safarov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Vasil Shaikhraziev, Chairman of Tatarstan  State Council Farid Mukhametshin and other officials attended the event. 

On August 19, at Tatarstan Government House, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met Tatarstan athletes - members of the Russian national team, who participated in the FINA World Championships in Aquatics in Kazan. Minister of Youth and Sports of Tatarstan Vladimir Leonov, athletes and coaches took part in the meeting.

On August 18, solemn opening of II International archeological field school to be held   on 17 -30 August, 2015  co-organized by Institute of archeology named after A. Khalikov and Kazan Federal University in  conference hall of Memorial plaque honoring the acceptance of Islam  in Bolgar state historical-architectural museum reserve.  The organizational and financial support was rendered by Republican Fund for revival of historical and cultural monuments and Bolgar state historical-architectural museum reserve. 

On August 18, Interim President of Tatarstan Republic Rustam Minnikhanov and  First Deputy Chairman of Russian Government Igor Shuvalov who arrived on a working trip in Kazan inspected the construction pace of Solovinaya roscha housing estate.
