On December, 9 Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and CEO of Russian Venture Company Igor Agamirzyan signed an agreement on cooperation in innovation activity and "road map" in the field of development of venture capital investments between Tatarstan Government and Russian Venture Company.

On December 9, during his working round of the historical center of Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Gorky, Boratynsky, Ulyanov-Lenin memorial museums and Tolstoy mansion house. He was accompanied by Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Asgat Safarov, Assistant to Tatarstan President Olesya Baltusova, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utilities Services of the republic Irek Faizullin, Tatarstan Minister of Culture Airat Sibagatullin.

On December 9, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a business breakfast organized by Investment and venture fund of the Republic of Tatarstan on the occasion of the ceremony of awarding winners of the 10th anniversary contest “50 best innovative ideas for the Republic of Tatarstan” (Korston hotel). The business breakfast was dedicated to achievements, prospects and tasks on commercialization of technologies.

On December 8, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Aide to Tatarstan President on Economic Affairs Airat Khairullin and other regional officials visited a plant for the production of power tools “Interskol” in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone.

On December 8, in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in commissioning a new 600 MW distribution substation to offer resident companies the highest category of energy supply reliability.

On December 8, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan Minister of Education and Science Engel Fattakhov, Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Aide to Tatarstan President on economic issues Airat Khairullin, Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Protection Elmira Zaripova, Minister of Economy Artem Zdunov, and representatives of SEZ “Alabuga” resident companies took part in a meeting on personnel support of the residents.

On December 8, Chairman of Rixos hotels (Turkey) Mr Fettah Tamince presented to Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov a project to reconstruct the building of the former Shamov hospital in Kazan.
