On 5 November the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Head of the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service for the republic Eduard Khialeev visited penitentiary facilities located in Kazan, namely pretrial detention centers 1 and 2 and got acquainted with construction progress of a new detention center with the capacity of 1000 people to be commissioned in Kazan in 2025.
