Department for Public Service and Personnel of the Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan
The Department for Public Service and Personnel of the Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan is a structural subdivision of the Office of the Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan that is responsible for the issues of public service in the Republic of Tatarstan and the management of personnel.
The major tasks of the Department are:
- to assist the Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan in his work on implementing the government policy on public service and personnel matters;
- to assist, within its competence, the Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan in defining the key directions of reforming and development of public service in the Republic of Tatarstan and in ensuring the concerted work of public authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan on those issues;
- to implement, within its competence, measures to achieve the coordination between the public and municipal service in the Republic of Tatarstan;
- to control, within its competence, the implementation of the legislation on public service, the executive orders, Orders of the Rais (Head) and the instructions of the Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan on public service and personnel matters;
- to prepare proposals to the Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan on the issues of public service and personnel policy;
- to contribute to the improvement of the legal framework for public and municipal service;
- to provide human resources for the Office of the Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan.
