On May 15, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy Director General of “Rosatom” State Corporation Aleksandr Lokshin, Director General of “Holding Company "Composite" Leonid Melamed, Director General of SEZ “Alabuga” Timur Shagivaleev, Director of the Department for chemical-technical and forest industry of Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade Vladimir Potapkin and Head of Elabuga region Gennady Emelyanov took part in opening of “Alabuga-Volokno” plant at Specialized Economic Zone “Alabuga”.

On May 14, at a plenary session of the II International research and practice conference "Development of state financial control. Legislation, practice, institutes" at Kazan federal University, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that efficient use of budgetary funds and financial resources is one of the main conditions for economic development of the country.

On May 14, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Vice President of the Center of the National Glory Natalia Yakunina signed a cooperation agreement aimed to implement a set of Tatarstan government programmes on supporting families and mothers, as well as the national Sanctity of Motherhood national programme.

On May 13, at a meeting with representatives of the national media during his visit to Elabuga municipal region (Tatarstan) Interim Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that spring field works have to be completed within a week.
