President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov discussed the project of establishing IT University on the territory of innovation satellite city “Innopolis” with officials of Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburgh, USA). The meeting was held at the RT Government House with participation of Deputy PM and Minister of informatization and communications Roman Shaikhutdinov, Minister of education and science Engel Fattakhov, Aide to the Tatarstan President Radik Gimatdinov. The Carnegie Mellon University was presented by Director for charity issues Michael Steiner, Director for information technologies of iCarnegie Michael Hemi and administrative director of IT University “Innopolis” Dmitry Kondratiev.

Tatarstan’s State Counselor and Chairman of the Board of trustees of the Republican foundation “Vozrozhdenie” (“Revival”) Mintimer Shaimiev has met with the expert and consultant in the sphere of natural heritage preservation of the International Union for Conservation of Nature Kalev Sepp at the Kazan Kremlin.

The Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has met with participants of the international scientific conference "Plasma Technologies of Studying, Modifying and Obtaining of Different Materials". Corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Yury Mikhailov, professor of the University of California Alfred Wong, rector of the Kazan national research technological university German Dyakonov, Aide to the Tatarstan President on economic issues Airat Khairullin, Minister of education and science Engel Fattakhov, President of the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences Akhmet Mazgarov participated in the meeting.
