On May 14, Russian Minister of Health Veronika Skvortsova and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov attended a solemn event dated to the 200th anniversary of Kazan State Medical University that was held at the S.Saydashev Grand Concert Hall in Kazan.

On May 14, at their meeting at the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Health Veronika Skvortsova discussed further steps of the modernization of the healthcare, issues related to the improvement of performance of medical workers, and upgrade of equipment and technologies in the industry.

On May 14, Russian Minister of Health Veronika Skvortsova, who arrived in Kazan on a two-day working visit (May 13-14) to attend solemn events dated to the 200th anniversary of Kazan State Medical University, visited Azino children’s polyclinic in Kazan.

On May 14, during his working visit to Yelabuga municipal region, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov made overflight of fields and met with heads of farms and rural settlements of the region.

 

On May 14, a solemn opening of Regional Blood Center was held in Kazan. Russian Minister of Health Veronika Skvortsova, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Airat Farrakhov, Aide to Tatarstan President on Social Issues Tatyana Larionova, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Director of Federal Medical-Biological Agency Vladimir Uiba, and other federal and regional officials took part in the event.

On May 14, RMA Pipeline Equipment Company (Germany) launched its manufacturing plant at SEZ “Alabuga”. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Director General of OAO “Special Economic Zones” Vadim Tretyakov, owner of RMA Company Andreas Truttenbah and company founder Siegfried Truttenbah attended an opening ceremony.
