President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with winners of republican youth contests in House of RT Government. Rustam Minnikhanov handed republican awards named after Musa Jalil, special state grants of open republican television youth festival of pop art “Sozvezdie-Yoldyzlyk” and badges of honor “For active work in the sphere of state and youth policy of the Republic of Tatarstan” to representatives of the most active youth associations and creative teams.

President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev visited rock live festival “The creation of peace” on visiting Kazan. The event is held in Tatarstan capital for the fourth time. One of its organizers is Kazan Mayor’s office. This year more than 200 musicians from 12 countries (Russia, Great Britain, USA, Canada, Portugal and others) took part in the festival “The creation of peace”. Headliners - «Public Image Ltd» revived by John Lidon (unchallenged leader of cult punk group «Sex Pistols») in 2009, John Fogerty, “Neprikasaemye” led by Garik Sukachev, Bi-2 and Andrei Makarevich with Orchestra of Creole tango.

“Tatarstan which has a positive experience in realization of social and economic programs should get involved in work on rearrangement of functions and authorities between federal centre and subjects of federation”, - President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev stated at a bilateral meeting with Head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in Kazan. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, President of Russia Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Grigory Rapota, State Council chairman Farid Mukhametshin, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and other officials met him at the airport.

Today a delegation of Republic Armenia headed by President of Armenia Sege Sargsyan has arrived in Kazan. It was met at the Kazan international airport by RT President R.N. Minnikhanov, Rt State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin, RT Prime minister Ildar Khalikov.

The main purpose of the working visit by Serge Sagsyan to Kazan is participation in tripartite meeting of heads of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan which is to take place in the Kazan Kremlin.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliev staying with a working visit in Kazan has attended today in capital of Tatarstan number of objects. President of Tatarstan presented him achievements of Tatarstan in the sphere of industry, sports and IT.

The delegation of Azerbaijan which besides Ilham Aliev includes Minister of foreign affaires Elmar Mamedyarov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to the Russian Federation Polad Byul-Byul ogly visited Kazan helicopters plants, Universiade Village, IT –park.

Today there are 288 family farms in Tatarstan, 311 family farms are in stage of construction. This was reported at the meeting in RT House of Government by vice minister of agriculture and foodstuffs Minsagir Nurtdinov.

Meeting on issues of implementing program of major repairing of multi-apartment houses, construction and major repair of preschool educational institutions in RT was held today by rt president R.N. Minnikhanov.

The meeting was held in video conference format with switching all RT municipal regions. RT Premiere I. Sh. Khalijkov also took part in a measure.

Today a delegation of Azerbaijan headed by Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliev has arrived in Kazan.
