Address from the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov on the occasion of celebrations of the Tatar National Holiday Sabantuy

On 5 June is his address on the occasion of the Tatar National Holiday Sabantuy , the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “ Prosperity and abundance are  the results of hard work. This rule which is passed from generation to generation has become a principle of life of our people. From time immemorial  during the Sabantuy we commend our respected grain producers and all agicultural workers through whose efforts the food security of the republic is created. We are heartfully grateful to you for your selfless noble labour, love and dedication to the native land!        

School catering units are being actively renovated with the end of the school year in Tatarstan, the work being done at 63 facilities currently

On 5 May, speaking at a regular meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin informed that currently 63 school catering units are under repairs with the amount of work completed reaching 15 per cent.

Rustam Minnikhanov at a meeting with a delegation from the Kingdom of Bahrain: Our enterprises are ready to work in Bahrain

On 5 June, speaking at his meeting with a delegation from the Kingdom of Bahrain on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum and addressing the Minister of Finance and National Economy and the Minister of Industry and Trade of Bahrain, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said: ”Our country considers the Kingdom of Bahrain to be an important trade, economic and investment partner in the eastern region.”

Important agreements signed at a meeting of Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut

On 4 June, speaking at his meeting with the Russian Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum-2026, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov briefly told that according to results of last year more than 4.6m tonnes of grain, 2.2m tonnes of sugar beet and more than 1.2m tonnes of potatoes and vegetables were grown in the republic and this year it is also expecting a good yeild.

Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in a joint meeting of members of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia

On 5 June the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a joint meeting of members of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia (AIRR) held on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum and which discussed a number of organizational issues including the election of the AIRR Council, and approval of the yearly report and the work schedule.

On 5 June at their meeting of the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, the Head of the Prospective Development Department of PJSC Gazprom Oleg Aksyutin discussed implementation of joint projects including that with KazanCompressorMash Plant.

Tatarstan and Moscow occupy the first line in the National ranking of the state of the investment climate in the regions of Russia

On 5 June the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Aleksandr Novak, the Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maksim Reshetnikov, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin and representatives of the Administrations of Russian regions took part in an event held on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), where the Director General of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives Svetlana Chupsheva informed about results of the National ranking of the state of the investment climate in the regions.

Thus she declared that Tatarstan together with Moscow have occupied the first line in the National ranking.
