Rustam Minnikhanov and members of a delegation from Egypt discuss issues of strengthening cooperation

On 4 February in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with members of a delegation from the Arab Republic of Egypt who came to the republic to get acquainted with its economy and industry and during their stay visited a number of industrial enterprises and evaluated the economic and innovational capacity of the republic.

Rustam Minnikhanov meets the first Consul General of India in Kazan Mister Jaisundkhar

On 4 February at his meeting with the first Consul General of India in Kazan Mister Jaisundkhar, welcoming his guest the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov wished him fruitful work at his new position.

It is envisaged that the opening of the Indian General Consulate will strengthen economic, political and cultural ties and facilitate the development of inter-regional cooperation and, speaking at the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that Tatarstan attaches great attention to the development of cooperation with India within the framework of traditionally friendly Russia-India relations.

On 4 February at their meeting in the Government House of the republic held with participation of the Tatarstan Minister of Sports Vladimir Leonov and other regional officials, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the President of the Union of Biatlonists of Russia (RBU) Viktor Maygurov discussed issues of prospects of the development of biathlon in the region and overall support for sports.
