On 17 December during his working trip to Bukhara the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Hokim of Bukhara region Botir Zaripov visited the construction site of the Special Industrial Park “Bukhara complex of development of Industry”. Tatarstan helps Uzbekistan colleagues with its consultation on the park establishment and currently there is a construction of two shops for manufacture of polymer pipes and polyethyleneterephthalate fiber with the total area 93 thousand square meters which will be commissioned in the second quarter of 2025.
On 17 December in the afternoon the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov came on a working trip to Bukhara where he will visit the construction site of the Special Industrial Park “Bukhara complex of development of Industry” and have a meeting the Hokim of the region to discuss current issues of implementation of joint projects.
On 17 December at their meeting in Baku the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev handed in the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov the Order Dostlug (Friendship) for his special merits in the development of friendly, economic and cultural bonds between Azerbaijan and Tatarstan.
On 17 December the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev who received him in his residence.
Speaking at the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov thanked for an invitation to visit Azerbaijan as it was agreed during the visit of Ilham Aliev to Kazan when he took part in the events of the BRICS summit and emphasized: “We highly appreciate an opportunity to expand cooperation with your country within the frame work of friendly Russia-Azerbaijan relations.”
On 17 December in Baku the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov laid a wreath to the grave of the National leader Heydar Aliyev and flowers to the grave of his wife Zarifa Aliyeva located on the Alley of burial place of honor which also has graves of outstanding Azeri leaders of culture, science, politics and Heroes of the Soviet Union.
On 17 December during his working trip to Azerbaijan the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Free Economic Zone (FEZ) Alat which was established by a decree of the President in 2020 and is located close to the Baku international trade sea port. It is supposed that such location of the port will ramp up the capacity of the free economic zone in the section of the trans-Caspian route and the “North-South” international transport corridor.
