On 15 December, speaking at his meeting with Russian Minister of Sport Mikhail Degtyarev in Moscow, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov told him about results of the development of the sphere of physical activity and sport in the republic and work of the Directorate of Sports and Social Projects in 2025. The parties of the meeting also discussed initiatives of holding prospective sport international events in the republic in 2026-2027 and the matters of the development of necessary infrastructure of the Volga Region State University of Physical Education, Sport and Tourism.

Rais of Tatarstan: Dialogue of Russia and the Islamic world has deep historic roots

On 15 December in Moscow the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a research to practice conference “Dialogue: Russia- the Islamic wolrd: common cultural heritage as the basis for cooperation”, organized by the Strategic Vision Group “Russia the Islamic world” which Rustam Minnikhanov is the head of, the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the International Islamic Mission and dedicated to the 950th anniversary of the madrasah Nizamiya, which is the first in modern Russia and Europe university-type educational institution.

Aleksey Pesoshin holds a meeting of competition committee “Manager of the Year – 2025”

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
