Tatarstan and UMMC-Holding sign cooperation agreement

On August 28, during a board meeting of Tatneftekhiminvest-Holding, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Director General of Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company (UMMC) Andrey Kozitsyn signed a cooperation agreement.

Minister of Industry and Trade of the republic Albert Karimov noted that the company supplies a wide range of products, but the main thing is to solve logistics issues to organize direct deliveries.

Minnikhanov recommended that TAIF, Tatneft, Nizhnekamskneftekhim, and electric and power engineering companies of the republic should intensify cooperation and establish direct contacts with the Ural Company. According to him, in case of large volumes of supplies, it is possible to agree on tariffs with the Russian Railways.

Director General of Tatneftekhiminvest Holding Rafinat Yarullin said that scientific institutions of Tatarstan also have a number of cooperation proposals.
