Rustam Minnikhanov: The untimely passing of Khaniya Farkhi is an irreparable loss for the musical art of Tatarstan

On July 28, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov sent a telegram of condolences to Gabdulkhay Biktagirov in connection with the death of his wife, People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Khaniya Farkhi. 

"Dear Gabdulkhay Abdulkhanovich!

I have learned with deep sorrow about the sudden death of your spouse Khaniya Farkhlislamovna Biktagirova. Her untimely passing is an irreparable loss for the musical art of Tatarstan. A gifted, popular singer, who made her important contribution to the development of national popular music, passed away.

Khaniya Farkhi was an original artist with incredibly powerful energy, temperament, scenic charm, who successfully realized her potential both in her creative activity and personal life. Her songs, her musical heritage, grateful memory of her will always remain with us.

My sincere condolences to you and your family, I share the pain of this great grief with you."
