Operations on straightening the vessel aground - level-keel draft have started on the place where actions on lifting the sunk motor-boat “Bulgaria” are being accomplished. Straightening operations started on July 17 at 17:30 pm, Chief of HQ for vessel lifting Viktor Olerski informs.

Using floating cranes specialists gradually lift the vessel up from the right side. Cranes stop operating from time to time in order divers investigate the vessel.

By words of Viktor Olerski Operations on straightening the vessel are to be finished by the end of the day. Decision about further actions will be made according to results of operations. Divers are meant to seal portholes on the right side and other holes that were inaccessible when the vessel lay sidewise.
