On June 26, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of the Executive Board of Rusnano Corporation Anatoly Chubais, Founder and CEO of Advenira Enterprises Elmira Ryabova and other officials took part in a ceremony of opening TAT-Advenira plant for the production of nanocomposite coatings in Himgrad Technopolis in Kazan.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Minnikhanov reminded that he looked into project during his working visit to the United States, California, in November 2016, when a meeting with the company's management and a visit to the company's laboratory in Sunnyvale were organized.
"Nanocomposite solutions are able to increase the service life and improve the reliability of products," Minnikhanov said. "This project opens up new opportunities for the industry. This innovative coating allows us to ensure the long-life of metal structures and can be used in shipbuilding and other fields," he continued.
As noted at the ceremony, at the first stage (2017-2018), the plant's design capacity will be 30,000 liters of nanosolutions per year, while during the second stage (2018-2019) it is planned to increase its capacity up to 300,000 liters.
In his turn, Chubais called today's ceremony "a special event." He noted that KAMAZ Automaker could become one of the consumers of the nanocoating. Chubais also said that he hopes that dozens of such production facilities will be opened throughout the country.
