Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in festive prayer on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr

On June 25, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a festive prayer on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.

Mufti of Tatarstan Kamil khazrat Samigullin preached a sermon marking the closing of the holy month of Ramadan.

He also read out congratulatory telegrams on the occasion of the end of the fast and the holiday of Eid al-Fitr from Russian President Vladimir Putin and greetings to Muslims from Minnikhanov. 

Then, the mufti of the republic performed the festive prayer.

After the prayer, a festive tea party was held in the residence of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan.
