Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in annual general meeting of KAMAZ Automaker's shareholders

On June 23, in Naberezhnye Chelny, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the annual general meeting of KAMAZ Automaker's shareholders.

Director General of Rostec State Corporation Sergey Chemezov, Prime Minister of the republic Alexey Pesoshin and other officials took part in the meeting.

Director General of KAMAZ Automaker Sergey Kogogin made a report on the company's activity. There were 18 items on the meeting agenda, including the approval of the annual report of KAMAZ Automaker, the approval of the annual accounting (financial) statements of the company and the distribution of profits based on the results of work in 2016, issues related to the amount, period and mode of payment of dividends based on the results achieved in 2016, election of members of the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee and other issues.

Before the meeting, Kogogin presented Chemezov and other guests a line for assembling a new engine at the engine plant. Commissioning works are now underway there. The first batch is planned to be produced in 2017, while large-scale production will be launched in 2018.
