Rustam Minnikhanov and Head of the Federal agency for fishery Ilya Shestakov visit gastronomic festival “Fish week” in Kazan

On June 17, Head of the Federal agency for fishery Ilya Shestakov and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited gastronomic festival “Fish week” near “Kazan” family center.

The fish festival is held in different Russian cities and in Moscow and St. Petersburg it has been held since 2015. The project is aimed at the promotion of Russian producers.  

Rustam Minnikhanov and Ilya Shestakov looked around the festival and different expositions such as “Wooden products”, “Forest herbs of Tatarstan”, “Ceramics”, “Pottery”.

The guests also saw the presented fish products and how a famous Russian showman Oskar Kuchera and chef of the Kazan restaurant Maksim Agureev were cooking a thousand liters of fish soup. Everyone could try the meal.
