Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visits construction site of Alabuga service metallurgic center

On June 15, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the republic Albert Karimov and Director General of Alabuga Specialized Economic Zone Timur Shagivaleev inspected the construction of Alabuga service metallurgic center, a joint project of Magnitogorsk metallurgic plant and Turkish company Coskunoz.

The new enterprise will produce steel blanks for automotive industry, first of all for Ford Company. It is the first turn-key project that was implemented for investors by a managing company of Alabuga SEZ.

The foundation stone was laid on December 12, 2016. Tatarstan President was reported that the total area of the building makes 8200 square metres. All construction works are conducted in accordance with the schedule.

Minnikhanov wished builders to complete the project in time.
