Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev arrives in Tatarstan

On May 25, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, who arrived on a working visit in Tatarstan, was met by President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov at Kazan International Airport.

Today, Russia's Prime Minister will hold a presidium meeting of the Russian Presidential Council for Economic Modernization and Innovative Development in Kazan. The meeting will focus on the development of technology entrepreneurship of students and the role of university entrepreneurship in the economy.

Moreover, Medvedev will get acquainted with the activities of the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology of Kazan (Volga region) Federal University, visit the IT Lyceum of Kazan Federal University and speak with students.

Later on today, Medvedev will have a working meeting with Rustam Minnikhanov.

Tomorrow, on May 26, Head of the Russian Government will hold a meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of Government in the capital of Tatarstan. In the afternoon, Medvedev plans to take part in a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council.
