Rustam Minnikhanov meets representatives of creative youth in Kazan

On May 22, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the residence of creative industries “Shtab” and met representatives of creative youth in Kazan.

Rustam Minnikhanov was told about activity of the center and its projects. In particular, more than 1000 events including lectures, master classes, forums, conferences, exhibitions and festivals have been organized for two years. Today the center is implementing the educational project “The school of city entrepreneurs”, the course on event production “The battle of creative managers” , and projects of young fashion designers.

Young people told the president about their ideas on the development of creative industries in the republic, such as organization of cultural and recreational events and support of youth creative projects.

Minnikhanov noted that proactive efforts have been taken on the development of public spaces and different sites for fulfillment of the potential of talented youth in the republic. However, a lot of young people are leaving Kazan to seek fortune in Moscow or St. Petersburg.
