Irek Faizullin: Tatarstan becomes the leader among Russian regions on the level of collection of payments for housing and utility services

On May 22, at a regional meeting at Tatarstan Government House, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and utilities of the republic Irek Faizullin said that 5,937 complaints about housing and utility services of the republic have been received from citizens for four months of 2017.

The meeting was held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.

Prime Minister of the republic Alexey Pesoshin took part in the event.

According to Faizullin, 52 per cent of complaints concern maintenance of communal property, 24 per cent – payment for housing and utility services, 11 per cent – low quality delivery of utility services.

By results of the monitoring of payments, the share of electronic payments for housing and utility services (infomats, online banking systems, and Portal of state services) has made 41,5% of the sum and 37,2% of the number of payments.

Rustam Minnikhanov noted that a lot of complaints about payments for utility services and communal property are being received from citizens.
