2017 participants registered for Russia- the Islamic world: KazanSummit 2017 forum

On May 16, at a briefing at Tatarstan Government House, Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina informed that the capital of Tatarstan will host the International economic summit of Russian and OIC for the ninth time. The summit has become the main place for economic interaction between Russian regions and Islamic states. Twice as much guests are expected to take part in the summit, 2017 people have already sent their attendance requests.   

In 2009, only 250 people gathered at the International summit of Islamic business and finances. For the last two years due to the work of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency the number of participants has increased from 300 to 2,000, and the number of countries from 15 to 51.

This year organizers have focused on the business part of the forum. However, a lot of foreign politicians, including ministers from Emirates and representatives of Bahrain Government, Chairman of Turkmenistan Committee for legislation will take part in the summit.
