Rustam Minnikhanov arrives on a working visit in Astrakhan

On May 12, in the afternoon, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who arrived on a working visit in Astrakhan, was met by Vice Governor – Chairman of the Astrakhan region Government Rasul Sultanov at the Astrakhan International Airport. 

Later on today, Tatarstan President is scheduled to meet with Governor of the Astrakhan region Alexander Zhilkin. After that, Minnikhanov will attend a festive concert of masters of the arts of Tatarstan, which will be held at the Astrakhan State Opera and Ballet Theatre.

Tomorrow, on the 13th of May, Tatarstan President will take part in the 17th Federal Sabantuy,which will be held at the Central Stadium in Astrakhan.

Tatarstan President's itinerary also includes the participation in the opening ceremony of the monument to the famous Tatar poet Musa Jalil in Astrakhan State University's park.
